Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has opened Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note.
By 10:23 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index dipped 0.03% to 15,411 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index added 0.08% to 753.21 points, while the broader EGX100 index edged down 0.03% to 1,927 points.
Meanwhile, the equal-weighted EGX50 index inched down 0.06% to 2,634 points.
Trading volume amounted to around 2.9 million shares exchanged through 342 transactions at a turnover of EGP 9.3 million.
Arab investors were mostly sellers, netting EGP 880,000, while foreign and Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 39,700 and EGP 840,200, respectively.
