Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index inched up 0.04% or 4.82 points to the level of 13,585.58 points early Thursday.
By 10:24 am Cairo time, the EGX70 added 0.75% to 727.2 points, while the EGX100 ascended 0.52% to 1,627.49 points, and the EGX50 edged up 0.27% to 2,126 points.
Trading volume reached 19.7 million shares exchanged at EGP 41.9 billion through 1,400 transactions.
Foreign and Egyptian investors were net buyers by EGP 808,900 and EGP 3.4 million, respectively, while Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 4.2 million.
Porto Group Holding, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB), and Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) levelled up 2.38%, 2.01%, and 1.52%, respectively.
On the other hand, Egyptian Financial and Industrial (EFIC) and Citadel Capital dropped 1.01% and 0.88%, respectively.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) declined 0.99% to EGP 84.15.
