Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Tuesday’s trading session in green territory.
By 10:25 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index added 116.45 points, or 0.66%, to 17,639 points.
The EGX70 index edged up 0.2% to 872.59 points, while the EGX100 index went up 0.25% to 2,266 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index gained 0.87% to 3,012 points.
Trading volume reached nearly 30.6 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 128 million through 3,060 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 2.6 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 452,600 and EGP 2.14 million, respectively.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) leveled up 0.8% to EGP 9.49 with a turnover of EGP 452,200.
