Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started Tuesday’s trading session up on the back of local and Arab buying.
By 10:20 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index inched up 0.07%, to 16,231.85 points.
The EGX70 index added 0.52% to 804.99 points, while the EGX100 index went up 0.32% to 2,025.07 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index edged up 0.36% to 2,721 points.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 4.7 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 14.4 million through 422 transactions.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 555,290, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 459,800 and EGP 95,400, respectively.
