Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Tuesday’s trading session in green territory.
By 10:30 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index added 88.12 points, or 0.66%, to 13,322.7 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index edged up 0.23% to 683.69 points, while the EGX100 index went up 0.20% to 1,714.58 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index gained 0.99% to 2,142 points.
Trading volume reached nearly 29.19 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 84.8 million through 3,400 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 2.5 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 885,040 and EGP 1.6 million, respectively.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) slipped 0.46% to EGP 80.12 with a turnover of EGP 374,700.
