Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) have risen slightly early Tuesday.
By 10:30 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index edged up 7.86 points, or 0.05%, to 14,678.43 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index remained stable at 684.27 points, while the broader EGX100 inched up 0.02% to 1,735 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index added 0.2% to 2,390 points.
Meanwhile, trading volume amounted to 10.7 million shares exchanged through 1,400 transactions at a turnover of EGP 92.02 million.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 33.5 million, whereas Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 17.6 million and EGP 15.9 million, respectively.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) shed 0.21% to EGP 68.01.
