Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note.
By 10:26 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index went up 101.64 points, or 0.6%, to 16,892.73 points.
The EGX70 index dipped 0.02% to 853.3 points, while the EGX100 index edged up 0.21% to 2,182 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index added 0.53% to 2,917 points.
Trading volume reached about 14.02 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 69.6 million through 2,200 transactions.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 2.9 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 2.7 million and EGP 210,700, respectively.
It has not been traded on the heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) yet.
