EGX opens Wednesday higher amid foreign, Arab buying

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.19% or 26.43 points to the level of 13,664.12 points earlier Wednesday.

By 10:39 am Cairo time, the EGX70 went up 0.36% to 720.05 points, while the EGX100 ascended 0.35% to 1,621.94 points, and the EGX50 added 0.55% to 2,120 points.

Trading volume amounted to 69.05 million shares exchanged at EGP 112.8 million through 3,800 transactions.

Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 3.5 million and EGP 2.7 million, respectively, while Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 6.2 million.
