Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) open Wednesday up on mixed note amid local buying.
By 10:34 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index slipped 0.13% or 18.08 points to the level of 14,324.3 points.
The EGX70 index grew 0.53% to 786.18 points, while the EGX100 index levelled up 0.36% to 1,774.59 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index inched down 0.05% to 2,531 points.
Trading volume reached 42.8 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 105.5 million through 3,100 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 4.19 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 2.5 million and EGP 1.6 million, respectively.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shed 0.04% to EGP 78.8.
