Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has seen a mixed performance early Wednesday.
By 10:36 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index jumped 1.2% to 13,312.37 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index inched down 0.07% to 680.17 points, while the broader EGX100 index went up 0.11% to 1,710.31 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index added 0.84% to 2,108.56 points.
Trading volume amounted to 38.81 million shares exchanged through 1,840 transactions at a turnover of EGP 192.33 million.
Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 10.7 million, while Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 5.08 million and EGP 5.6 million, respectively.
