Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.41% or 54.48 points to the level of 13,450.70 points early Wednesday.
By 10:34 am Cairo time, the EGX70 added 0.71% to 709.20 points, while the EGX100 went up 0.57% to 1,602.07 points, and the EGX50 edged up 0.59% to 2,085 points.
Trading volume reached about 30.9 million shares exchanged at EGP 75.8 million through 2,600 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 3.3 million and EGP 2.8 million, respectively, while Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 5.19 million.
Citadel Capital, Madinet Nasr Housing, and Extracted Oils rose 2.86%, 2.22%, and 1.8%, respectively.
On the other hand, Juhayna Food and Alexandria Mineral Oils slipped 0.74% and 0.10%, respectively.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shed 0.23% to EGP 84.
