Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started Sunday’s trading session in green territory on the back of foreign and Arab purchases.
By 10:28 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index edged up 0.37% to 13,071.67 points.
The small- and mid-cap EX70 index inched up 0.05% to 668.44 points, while the broader EGX100 index added 0.09% to 1,679.27 points.
Likewise, the equal-weighted EGX50 index leveled up 0.55% to 2,044.31 points.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 4.8 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 47.14million through 662 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 2.10 million, whereas foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.39 million and EGP 711,400, respectively.
