Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Sunday’s open by 0.12% or 16 points to the level of 12,725.5 points.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices grew 0.58%, 0.56%, and 0.57%, respectively.
By 10:50 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 124.9 million shares and turnover stood at EGP 105.1 million.
Net purchases came to EGP 5.2 million by foreign investors and EGP 2.2 million by Arabs, while Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 7.4 million.
Cairo Oils topped gainers after adding 9.96%, followed by Porto (+7.7%), Amer (+7.1%), and Heliopolis Company for Housing (1.3%).
Meanwhile, Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) fell 0.95% to EGP 74.7.
Ghabbour, HADISOLB, GMC, and Citadel declined between 2% and 1%.
