Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday has announced that it will be shut on Sunday, 17 June and Monday, 18 June in celebration of the Eid al-Fitr, a three-day Muslim festival marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Trading on the stock market will be resumed on Tuesday, 19 June 2018, the Egyptian bourse added in a statement.
On Sunday, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said that the Eid al-Fitr holiday will be on Sunday, 17 June and Monday, 18 June.
