Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has come in the fifth spot as one of the best performing stock markets in the world since the beginning of 2018 until 4 May.
The Egyptian bourse was also ranked second and first as the best stock market in African and the Arab World, respectively, according to data compiled by Country Economy website.
It is noteworthy that Venezuela’s IBC Caracas has topped the list, after soaring 1,304.26%, followed by Ukraine’s PFTS index and GSE Ghana which hiked 50.58% and 34.92%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s UX Index was ranked fourth with 32.75%, followed by the EGX30 with 16.25%.
