Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) shares reversed early gains, in Tuesday late trade, following the announcement of the results of the investigations related to the recent crash of Russian aircraft in Sinai.
Earlier, Russian officials said they had evidence that the plane that crashed in Egypt last month was downed by a bomb; the first time those investigating the crash have cited proof of terrorist involvement.
The benchmark index EGX30 fell 0.65% to 6,438 points.
The heavy weighed Commercial International Bank (CIB) lost more than 6% to EGP 40.9, with 4.9 million shares change hands worth of EGP 212 million.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 went down 1.13% to 346 points, while the broader index EGX100 edged down 0.53% to 756.7 points.
