Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Wednesday’s open by 0.65% or 77 points to the level of 12,015.18 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose 0.48%, 0.42%, and 0.86%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 33.7 million shares, as turnover amounted to EGP 143.9 million.
Net purchases reached EGP 11.3 million by Arab investors and EGP 7.1 million by foreigners, while local investors were net sellers by EGP 18 million.
Universal for Paper and Packaging Materials leapt 5.21%, Emaar Misr grew 4.21%, and Porto Holding rose 4%.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) levelled up 1.18% to EGP 72.69.
