Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Tuesday’s session in green, backed by trading activity by foreign and Arab traders.
By 10:45 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.49% or 66.53 points to the level of 13,549.57 points.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices advanced 0.08%, 0.16%, and 0.68%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 77.47 million shares exchanged at EGP 183.04 million through 4,810 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 7.97 million and EGP 5.60 million, respectively, while Egyptian traders were net sellers by EGP 13.5 million.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) grew 0.68% to EGP 84.
