Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose in Thursday’s early trading by 0.15% or 20.32 points to the level of 13,355.18 points.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices ascended 0.40%, 0.34%, and 0.28%, respectively.
By 10:34 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 32.14 million shares exchanged at EGP 77.8 million through 2,500 transactions.
Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers by EGP 8.7 million and EGP 577,000, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers by EGP 9.3 million.
Porto Holding rose 2.86%, Ezz Steel advanced 1.96%, and Arab Cotton Ginning grew 1.85%.
On the other hand, Elsewedy Electric fell 1.81%, Orascom Telecom declined 1.49%, and Domty shrank 1.10%.
