Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s session at 11,174.09 points after rising by 2.60%.
The EGX50 EWI added 2.94% to close at 1,912.71 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI soared by 4.16% to 1,848.51 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI gained 3.76% to end the session at 2,823.14 points.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 566.60 million through the trading of 323.13 million shares.
The market cap value amounted to EGP 704.45 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 7.94 million and EGP 40.31 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 48.29 million.
