EGX’s indexes fall on Tuesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session higher by 1.40% at 11,563.38 points.

The EGX50 EWI added 1.09% to close at 1,976.69 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 1.18% to 1,986.56 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI went up by 1.14% to end the session at 2,994.32 points.

EGX’s turnover totalled EGP 744.46 million through the trading of 315.33 million shares.

The market cap value stood at EGP 728.92 billion.

As for trading on securities, foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 22.64 million, while both Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 19.91 million and EGP 2.72 million, respectively.
