Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose during June, as the benchmark index EGX30 went up 2.39% to 14,100 points.
EGX70 grew 1.03% to 603.56 points in June, while the broader index EGX100 increased by 1.24% to 1,540 points.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 went up 1.74% to 2,103 points in June.
In June, the EGX’s trading volume reached 2.19 billion shares, while liquidity hit EGP 20.2 billion.
The market capital increased to EGP 756.1 billion at the end of the month, compared to EGP 745 billion in May.
Arab investors were inclined to sell with a net EGP 251.2 million, while foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 157.3 million.
