EGX says five companies join EGX30 on periodic review

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has completed the semi-annual review of the indexes constituents.

According to this review, fiver companies were removed from the benchmark index EGX30 and replaced by other five companies

The companies that joined the benchmark are Egyptian Iron and Steel, Cairo Oils and Soap, Arabian Food Industries (Domty),Arabian Cement and Egypt Kuwait Holding.

In respect to the companies being excluded from EGX30 are Juhayna, Oriental Weavers, Credit Agricole – Egypt, South Valley Cement and United Arab Stevedoring.

Meanwhile, the equal weighed index EGX50 witnessed the exit of 8 companies, while small and mid-caps index EGX70 saw the exit of 15 companies and the broader index EGX100 saw the exit of 11 companies.

Moreover, 11 companies have joined the broader index EGX100.
