EGX says four firms join EGX30 on periodic review

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange announced in its periodic review removing four companies out of and adding another four to the benchmark index EGX30, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.

The newly listed companies are Oriental Weaver, Juhayna, Sidi Kerir, and Crédit Agricole, while the bourse cancelled Egypt Kuwait Holding, Edita, Arabia Investments, Development and Financial Investment Holding and Elsaeed Contracting and Real Estate Investment Company.

Moreover, EGX administration ranked 16 firms out of the small and mid-cap index EGX70, of which four were registered in the main index line. It further replaced twelve firms trading under the broader index EGX100.
