Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) decided to suspend trading on the stocks of Elsewedy Electric, following the news that the company has been awarded a contract worth $ 373 million in Angola.
Earlier, news reports circulated that the Egyptian listed firm was awarded a contract to build three thermal power plants in three cities in Angola.
The company’s shares ended Tuesday’s trading session up 1.74% at closing price of EGP 33.82, with 29,100 shares changed hands worth EGP 985,500.
