Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has suspended trading on Raya Holding for Financial Investment’s stock as of Sunday, 30 December.
This decision came in response to the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) request, the EGX said in a statement.
Trading on the stock will be halted until the FRA releases another statement regarding the matter, the Egyptian bourse added.
Last week, the FRA said that Raya Holding’s chairman Medhat Mohamed Ibrahim Khalil was obliged to make a mandatory purchase offer due until 28 December.
