Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark index (EGX30) is forecast to test the resistance mark of 13,500 on Tuesday, according to analysts.
MubasherTrade Research said the index slightly declined to 13,264 yesterday on average volume, clarifying that the current rising wave is to continue towards 13,500 points.
Likewise, market analyst Mohamed Khedir indicated the index is likely to target the level of 13,500 after breaking the 13,000 barrier, expecting more rises towards the 17,000 – 18,500 zone on the long run.
On Monday, Cairo bourse snapped its four-day winning as EGX30 eased 0.17% or 22.9 points to close at 13,264.8 points.
The small and medium caps index EGX70 gained 0.95% to close at 477.37 points, while the broader index EGX100 added 0.29% to close at 1,158.7 points.
