Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 index broke above the level of 13,000 points in Tuesday’s mid trading, backed by purchased of Arab and foreign traders.
By 12:18PM Cairo time, the index rose 1.51% to 13,043.74 points.
The EGX70, EGX100 and EGX50 indices also ascended by 0.40%, 0.68% and 2.29% respectively.
Trading volume reached 183.9 million shares exchanged at EGP 878.8 million through 23,230 transactions.
Arab and foreign traders were net buyers by EGP 55.7 million and EGP 27.17 million respectively, while sales by local traders reached EGP 82.88 million.
