Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s session rising by 0.43% or 54.33 points to the level of 12,677.55 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices grew 0.58%, 0.68%, and 0.48%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 352.8 million shares exchanged at EGP 1.6 billion.
Market capitalisation rose EGP 4.06 billion to EGP 620 billion.
Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 50.9 million, while net sales by Arab and local investors reached EGP 33.8 million and EGP 17.2 million, respectively.
Elsewedy Electric levelled up 3.57%, Egypt Iron and Steel advanced 2.24%, and Orascom Telecom rose 1.47%.
On the other hand, Universal, Domty, Porto Holding, Arabian Cement, and Ezz Steel declined between 9.62% and 1.47%.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) dropped 2.56% to EGP 73.11.
