Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark EGX30 index rose by 1.97%, ending the mid-week session at 11,199 points.
On the other hand, the EGX70 EWI fell by 0.24% to 1,080 points, while the EGX100 index edged down by 0.04% to 1,166 points.
In the meantime, the EGX50 index grew by 0.3% to close at 1,540 points.
The market cap gained EGP 4.2 billion to close at EGP 598.32 billion on Tuesday from EGP 594.07 billion on Monday.
The market’s trading volume stood at 276.93 million securities exchanged at a turnover of EGP 4.39 billion through nearly 27,020 transactions
