Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at Wednesday’s close by 1.01% or 131.84 points to the level of 12,895.3 points.
The EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices also fell 0.68%, 0.68%, and 0.88%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 145.27 million shares exchanged at EGP 735.11 million through 24,230 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 90.5 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 69.39 million and EGP 21.11 million, respectively.
National Company for Maize Products was the top gainer after adding 9.89%, while Egyptian International Tourism Projects was the top loser after falling 9.21%.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) declined 1.01% to EGP 76.22.
