Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange indices slipped last week, while market capitalisation shed EGP 14.78 billion ($1.9 billion) to end at EGP 400.69 billion.
The main index, or EGX30, fell by 6.26% or 388.5 points to close at 5,813.72 points, compared with 6,202.22 points a week earlier.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 sagged 0.57% or 1.98 points to 347.48 points, compared with 349.46 points.
The broader index EGX100 ended 1.7% lower at 696.4 points, down from 708.61 points.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 lost 5.35% or 59.71 points to 1,056.31 points, compared with 1,116.02 points.
