Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at Wednesday’s open by 0.14% or 18.15 points to the level of 13,316.63 points.
By 10:43 am Cairo time, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose by 0.95%, 0.65%, and 0.05%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 47.86 million shares exchanged through 3,690 transactions, making a turnover of EGP 113.9 million.
Net sales reached EGP 6.6 million by foreign investors and EGP 277,570 by Arabs, while net purchases by Egyptian traders amounted to EGP 6.8 million.
EFG Hermes declined 1.86%, Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals retreated 1.27%, and Arabian Cement shrank 0.86%.
On the other hand, Citadel Holding rose 2.3%, HADISOLB ascended 1.84%, and Egypt Telecom rose 0.69%.
