Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Thursday’s close by 0.84% or 106.37 points to the level of 12,709.93 points.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices advanced 1.04%, 1.07%, and 0.47%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 177.101 million shares exchanged at EGP 747.4 million through 25,820 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 100 million and EGP 6.3 million, respectively, while net sales by Egyptian investors amounted to EGP 106.6 million.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) rose 0.72% to EGP 75.47.
Rowad Tourism was the top gainer after adding 9.85%, while Cairo Oils and Soap was the top loser after falling 11.63%.
