Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 index rose at Tuesday’s close by 1.14% or 143.6 points to the level of 12,791.83 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices grew 0.33%, 0.48%, and 0.77%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 441.4 million shares exchanged at EGP 1.19 billion through 27,500 transactions.
The market capitalisation increased by EGP 3.88 billion to EGP 658.78 billion.
Foreign and Arab traders were net buyers by EGP 31.6 million and EGP 159 million, respectively, while net sales by Egyptian investors reached EGP 190.6 million.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) levelled up 0.47% to EGP 76.52.
