Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Tuesday’s open by 1.16% or 151.37 points to the level of 13,212.44 points.
By 10:55am Cairo time, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices levelled up 0.73%, 0.65%, and 0.92%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 69.9 million shares exchanged at EGP 279.07 million through 8,080 transactions.
Foreign investors were net buyers at EGP 370.6 million, while net sales amounted to EGP 369.8 million by Egyptian investors and EGP 858,500 by Arabs.
Porto Holding rose 3.85%, Ezz Steel grew 3.71%, and Amer advanced 3.33%.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) ascended 2.12% to EGP 78.03.
Meanwhile, Universal shrank 6.65%, Domty declined 1.42%, and Elsewedy Electric dropped 0.96%.
