Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s session with an increase of 0.72% or 92.61 points, to the level of 12,884.44 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose by 0.48%, 0.68%, and 1.01%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 370.2 million shares exchanged at EGP 994.2 million through 29,000 transactions.
The market capitalisation increased EGP 5.74 billion to EGP 664.62 billion.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 27.2 million and EGP 79.9 million, respectively, while net sales by Egyptian traders reached EGP 107.1 million.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) advanced 1.32% to EGP 77.5, with a turnover of EGP 70.2 million.
