Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index rose at Sunday’s open by 0.72% or 94 points to the level of 13,188 points.
Likewise, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices ascended 0.05%, 0.12%, and 0.40%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 78.7 million shares exchanged at EGP 175 million through 3,800 transactions.
Foreign and Arab purchases were net buyers by EGP 6.6 million and EGP 2.1 million, respectively, while Egyptian traders were net sellers by EGP 8.7 million.
The Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) rose 1.64% to EGP 80.5.
Domty, Orascom Telecom, Juhayna, Oriental Weavers, and Egyptian Resorts advanced between 3.1% and 2%.
On the other hand, Ezz Steel, Cairo Oils, and Heliopolis Housing fell between 0.5% and 0.2%.
