Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Sunday’s trading session on a negative note, with its benchmark EXG30 index sliding below 12,500 points amid fears over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
By 10:08 am Cairo time, the EGX30 index fell by 4.12% to 12,472 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX70 EWI declined by 2.91% to 1,174 points.
