EGX30 loses 0.28% at close

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index declined at Sunday’s close by 0.28% to the level of 12,870.9 points.

The EGX50 index also fell 0.38%, while the EGX70 index grew 0.13% and the EGX100 index stood flat.

Trading volume reached 113.1 million shares exchanged at EGP 455.6 million through 18,700 transactions.

The market capitalisation decreased EGP 2.3 billion to EGP 665.035 billion.

Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 15.7 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 3.7 million and EGP 11.9 million, respectively.

Heavyweight Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) fell 0.16% to EGP 76.80.
