Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) dropped at Thursday’s close by 1.44% or 191.45 points to the level of 13,098.54 points.
Likewise, the EGX50 fell 0.33%, while the EGX70 and EGX100 rose by 0.74% and 0.23%, respectively.
Net sales by Egyptian investors amounted to EGP 42.2 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 5.5 million and EGP 36.6 million, respectively.
National Company for Housing, Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation, Assiut Islamic Trading, Saudi Egyptian Investment, and Americana Egypt fell between 9.97% and 6.50%.
On the other hand, Abu Qir Fertilizers advanced 10%, Egypt Gas rose 9.99%, and General Company for Silos, South Cairo and Giza Flour Mills, and Upper Egypt Flour Mills rose between 20.99% and 9.98%.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shrank 1.60% to EGP 77.97.
