Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 index declined at Thursday’s open by 0.30% or 40.3 points to the level of 13,249.83 points.
Similarly, the EGX50 index shrank 0.18% to 2,109.75 points, while the EGX70 index rose 0.30% to 584.22 points, and the EGX100 index levelled up 0.14% to 1,351.56 points.
By 10:19am Cairo time, trading volume reached 15 million shares exchanged at EGP 73.3 million through 2,030 transactions.
Net sales by foreign investors reached EGP 41.4 million, while net purchases by Egyptian and Arab investors amounted to EGP 7.9 million and EGP 33.4 million.
Abu Qir Fertilizers advanced 10%, Egypt Gas rose 9.99% and General Company for Silos grew 7.22.
On the other hand, National Company for Housing, Egyptian Satellites, National Company for Maize Products, and Misr Cement – Qena fell between 9.97% and 4.15%.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) declined 0.80% to EGP 78.61.
