Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at Thursday’s open by 0.34% or 44 points to the level of 12,940.52 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices fell 0.46%, 0.35%, and 0.34%, respectively.
By 10:45 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 15.45 million shares exchanged through 2,743 transactions, achieving a turnover of EGP 63.8 million.
Net sales by Egyptian investors amounted to EGP 3.75 million, while net purchases reached EGP 2.17 million by foreign investors and EGP 1.6 million by Arabs.
Delta for Printing was the top loser after falling 6.79%, while Suez Cement topped gainers after rising 8.03%.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) retreated 0.49% to EGP 76.93.
