Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Thursday’s open by 1.11% to the level of 12,875.46 points.
By 10:34am Cairo time, the EGX70 index grew 1.03% to 518.38 points, the EGX100 index levelled up 0.92% to 1,235.73 points, and the EGX50 index ascended 1.23% to 2,006.6 points.
Trading volume reached 34 million shares exchanged at EGP 209.9 million through 5,200 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net buyers by EGP 9.9 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net sellers by EGP 1.6 million and EGP 7.4 million, respectively.
Domty rose 7.82%, Egypt Iron and Steel grew 5.68%, AMOC increased 4.24%, and Ezz Steel ascended 2.55%.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) levelled up 1.67% to EGP 76.1.
On the other hand, Orascom Telecom, GMC, Ghabbour Auto, and Pioneers declined between 1.43% and 0.39%.
The benchmark EGX30 index rose on Wednesday by 0.46% or 57.81 points to the level of 12,735.36 points, the EGX0 and EGX100 indices also grew by 3.26% and 2.44%, respectively.
