Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) advanced in Monday’s early trading by 0.86% or 115.51 points to the level of 13,457.6 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose 1.43%, 1.01%, and 1.07%, respectively.
By 10:36 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 110 million shares exchanged at EGP 171 million through 4,480 transactions.
Citadel grew 7.78%, Orascom Telecom ascended 4.55%, HADISOLB rose 1.83%, and Global Telecom levelled up 1.62%.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) rose 1.21% to EGP 82.99.
Meanwhile, Cairo Oils, Porto, Heliopolis Housing, Elsewedy Electric, and Orascom Construction declined between 5.81% and 0.03%.
Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 8.4 million, while Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers by EGP 5 million and EGP 3.39 million, respectively.
