EGX30 opens in green on Arab sales

Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Thursday’s open by 0.02% or 2.21 points to the level of 12,991 points.

Similarly, the EGX70 and EGX100 indices grew 0.11% and 0.02%, respectively, by 10:40 am Cairo time.

On the other hand, the EGX50 index declined 0.55%.

Trading volume reached 34 million shares exchanged at EGP 90.6 million through 3,200 transactions.

Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 8.1 million and EGP 572,600, respectively, while net sales by Arab investors reached EGP 8.7 million.

Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) fell 0.18% to EGP 77.
