Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Monday’s open by 0.18% or 22.96 points to the level of 12,893.87 points.
By 10:35 am Cairo time, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices advanced 0.56%, 0.43%, and 0.26%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 23.61 million shares exchanged at EGP 79.63 million through 2,400 transactions.
Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 4.48 million, while net sales amounted to EGP 3.3 million by Egyptian investors and EGP 1.13 million by foreigners.
HADISOLB, Telecom Egypt, and Ezz Steel rose 2.73%, 1.71%, and 1.04%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Madinet Nasr Housing fell 0.51%, Global Telecom declined 0.44%, and Heliopolis Company Housing dropped 0.08%.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shrank 0.07% to EGP 76.75.
