Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) grew at Wednesday’s open by 0.18% or 23 points to the level of 12,606.2 points.
By 10:19 am Cairo time, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices advanced 0.43%, 0.35%, and 0.27%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 16.3 million shares exchanged at EGP 85 million through 1,971 transactions.
Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 25 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 24.4 million and EGP 600,000, respectively.
During this time, 45 stocks rose, nine declined, and 41 others were flat.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) rose 0.24% to EGP 75.8.
Emaar Misr, Heliopolis Housing, Arabian Cement, Cairo Oils, and SODIC advanced between 3.31% and 2.22%.
On the other hand, Telecom Egypt and AMOC declined 0.48% and 0.11%, respectively.
