Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index advanced at Tuesday’s close by 0.46% or 60 points to the level of 13,027.14 points.
The EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices also rose by 0.50%, 0.79%, and 0.23%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 184.3 million shares exchanged through 27,800 transactions, making a turnover of EGP 942.4 million.
The market capitalisation increased EGP 2.29 billion to EGP 664.9 billion.
Tameer (+9.75%) was the top gainer, while Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment (-6.16%) was the top loser.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) levelled up 0.4% to EGP 76.98.
Foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 59 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 3.2 million and EGP 55.7 million, respectively.
