EGX30 rises 0.70% early trade

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices rose collectively in Monday’s early trading, amid a buying activity by foreign and Arab traders.

The benchmark EGX30 index levelled up 0.70% or 90 points to the level of 13,295.8 points.

Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100 and EGX50 grew by 0.15%, 0.39% and 0.45% respectively.

Trading volume reached 95 million shares exchanged at EGP 230 million through 4,900 transactions.

Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 11 million and EGP 21.6 million respectively, while Egyptian traders were net sellers by EGP 32.6 million.

Orascom Construction, TMG Holding, Arab Cotton Ginning, SODIC and Madinet Nasr Housing rose between 4.6% and 1.4%.

The Commercial International Bank – Egypt advanced 0.71% to EGP 81.

On the flipside, Cairo Oils, Citadel and Egyptian Resorts fell between 1.7% and 1%.
